About Me

ABOUT ME

I like to try new things, go to new places and never want to read the same book twice. I think couchsurfing is a brilliant philosophy - i've met some amazing people though this, and can't wait to meet some more :-)

I currently work in charity marketing, I love working in a creative environment and work with some amazing causes.

I do triathalons, run and swim where ever and whenever I can.

Currently travelling around NZ working on permaculture projects.

"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

Howard Thurman.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During university, I hosted people from all over the world. Since starting work full time, i've had less opportunity to host, but am always happy to help people new to Cheltenham settle in. Hopefully in the future i'll also have a flat big enough to offer my sofa up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made some really great friends over this amazing invention! I really think couchsurfing is the type of philosophy that will help make the world a better place. It makes me sad that there is so much resistance to such a 'hippy' philosophy of trust. If we want to do something about the moral standards and ethics of such a society, things like couchsurfing need to be proliferated and used as much as possible!

Interests

Reading, thinking, drinking. Massage, guitar, arts and crafts, fancy dress with my niece. Transition towns, green thinking and sometimes drinking.
