About Me

My name is Josseline, I am LGBTTTI right activist in my country. I am the president of one of the most important ONG´s in Mexico, "Orgullo Ecatepec" As a transgender woman I celebrate and fight for the inclusion and respect of all the people, no matter race, sexual orientation, gender or social condition. I believe that together and united we can change the world. Also I strongly believe in values as tolerance, humility and loyalty.
I have a lot of daughters ( I mean my little dogs) I am a very home like person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling for the very first time in my life to Madrid, Spain. As a activist for LGBTTTI rights and trans woman, I am participating in a photography exhibition at Museo Casa de América where my portrait is about to show. One of my closest friend of Mexico, Francisco, suggested me to open an account in Couch Surfing in order to live a real and great experience in other culture in other place. I am not interested in tourism or sightseeing, I prefer to get in touch with real people and learn from their culture, that is the reason that Francisco helped me with my Couchsurfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all the kind of music, specially traditional music of the places. My favorite singer is Gloria Trevi, a crazy pop mexican singer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Each year during April I am in charge to organize one of the most important LGBT march in Mexico. Manu people as friends, family, neighbors, visitors from other places, journalist and activist join us and after that we get reunited in the Local Museum named "Casa de Morels" for celebrating and share experiences. It is incredible the power of the people of my city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach Hairstyling, and gendre topics. Also I could learn anything else from you. Your knowledge nourishes me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A different point of view of Mexico. The true society that exists in the outskirts of the city. Also I could share a lot of fun with the members of my ONG
