ABOUT ME

Hello
I'm Julien, french, working and living in Les Gets because I love mountain biking and skiing. I like to be helpful and accommodate travelers via couchsurfing because I've done it a lot before but as a guest. I've always had good and different experiences as host and guest. When you travel and you don't know much about the place where you are, the locals are the best people to introduce you to their homeplace and the culture (and language too!).
I've traveled quite a bit to surf, specially in Mexico and Indonesia, but also new Zealand Australia and Philippines.
I'm easy going and open minded, curious and I love a little adventure.
I love flamenco guitar too, but veeeeery hard! I'm attracted to the andalucian culture, and specially flamenco. It's my new passion.
I may accommodate you this summer for a few days.

I love couch surfing because for me it's a great way to:
- meet new people that are often happy to welcome you and help you, curious/open minded and other important qualities, and to exchange about travel, culture, food while having a drink or visiting a place.
- discover a place that you don't know (specially cities for me) with the best advices you can get.
The exchange and cultural aspects, to me, are the most important in couch surfing because if you want to be immersed in a culture, what's the best way than spend time with the people who live there ?

Paco de Lucia, Vicente amigo, moraito, led zeppelin, hendrix, stones, slightly stoopid, Kurt vile, Springsteen, goodie mob, the roots and a lot more. Right now I'm fully into flamenco, it's so different to the music we're used to. I find it very interesting and subtle.
