Über mich
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I’m here to build new friendships and meaningful connections across cultures. I see Couchsurfing not just as a place to stay, but as a way to network, exchange stories, and share experiences that broaden our understanding of the world. I’m always looking to learn something new — whether it’s from a host, a traveler, or a casual conversation that leaves a lasting impression. I have fallen in & out love on couchsurfing and maintained lifelong friendships because of it. The app has always been a bittersweet experience.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Music: I’m into everything, from indie, punk, classic rock, jazz, and instrumental and hiphop, ska and electronic music.
Books: Favorites include Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig, the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and just about anything tied to 20th-century history. I’m also drawn to topics in political finance, economics, and global affairs — probably the economist in me talking (I majored in economics). While I generally avoid getting into politics directly, I do like keeping up with international news, so we might have some thought-provoking conversations there if you care.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I moved to Europe for over two years, even though I had never left the U.S. before. I lived in Poland and Italy, working remotely in my professional field while also teaching English for residency.
It was an great experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone, expanded my global perspective, and let me build meaningful connections across cultures.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
Teach: I’m happy to offer travel tips, especially for places I’ve lived or explored — from navigating European cities to finding hidden gems in Orlando and throughout Florida. I can also share insights from my professional world or simply swap life lessons from my own adventures.
Learn: I’m always eager to learn from people who grew up outside the U.S. — about your culture, your daily life, your views on the world. Hearing diverse perspectives is one of the biggest reasons I travel and host.
Share: I’m glad to share my home, cook a good meal, and offer my time to help you have the best experience possible if we agree to connect. Whether it’s showing you around or just enjoying good conversation, I’ll do my best to make it memorable and comfortable.
