Overview
About Me
Hey everyone, I'm a Filipino American who loves to find new friends and travel to incredible places. I naturally gear towards the beach—I love swimming, playing beach volleyball, and diving—but I also love exploring big cities, ancient ruins, and hiking the mountains. I'm also a foodie, especially spicy foods, Japanese ramen, and good ol' fried chicken. Happy to share experiences with good people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first knew about Couchsurfing from a CS Summer Scramble event in Manila, where we did challenges around the city Amazing Race-style. I had a great time and made great friends, and since then, I've been a happy member of this travel-minded community.
Interests
Aside from fun activities already mentioned, I also enjoy chilling at home or any third place getting to know each other's personal history and ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an old soul, my favorites artists are Jackson Browne, Nina Simone, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, The Beatles, and the likes. I also enjoy contemporary artists like Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and some country artists like Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen. The reggaeton bug bit me as well so I jam to Bad Bunny, Maluma, Karol G—and stop judging me—Shakira.
I read anything that David Sedaris writes. I'm a Hemingway fan, and as an extension of that, a J.D. Salinger fan as well. I dig non-fiction books too, such as David Eagleman and Yuval Noah Harari; and ancient thinkers like Seneca and Lao Tzu.
As for movies and TV shows, I love a good mystery: Memento, Prima Fear, The Beach, HTGAWM, Killing Eve, White Lotus. I also enjoy feel-good and nostalgic movies: Eurotrip, American Pie series, Zombieland, Jumanji, Jurassic Park, Everything everywhere all at once.
