Hello ! I'm Juan, I'm a Canadian/Colombian guy currently living and working in Brussels. I have a huge passion for travelling, it's something that I've been doing for a while now and I have a strong desire to continue to travel as much as I can in the near future. I also love learning about new languages and cultures.. I've had the privilege of living in many countries and thus meeting people from all over the world is always a great pleasure.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music mostly revolves around rock. I love classic rock from the 1960s and 1970s, whether it be folk, psychedelia or hard rock. I'm a huge fan of the Beatles and other artists such as the Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath

In regard to films, I enjoy a wide array, but I've recently gained a taste for European film and filmmakers such as Michael Haneke, Ingmar Bergman and Jean-Luc Godard. I am also a huge huge Star Wars fan

I love reading novels and those are the kind of books I mostly read. My favourite is War and Peace and I've enjoyed many others such as Doctor Zhivago, 1984, Lord of the Flies and I, Cladius

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in three continents: South America, North America and now in Europe. I was born in Colombia, was raised in Canada, did my Bachelor's Degree in Spain and then my Master's in France.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak English, Spanish and French fluently with a good level of German, the latter which I love to practice ! I'm currently learning Dutch as well. I also like to talk about politics and current world affairs as it is always very relevant to my field of studies. I love history too and I could go all night just talking about it.

I love cooking for other people and that's something that I would always be willing to do. I also have a lot of interesting stories about people and places I've experienced.
