Overview
About Me
I'm a nursing student at Saint Louis University. Many of my couch surfer experiences come from I spent a year abroad in Madrid and a summer working for the Indian Health Service in Arizona!
I'm originally from the north suburbs of Chicago. I've been traveling since I was quite young as my mother is from Puerto Rico and my father is from Iran. I'm a vegan and love trying plants based meals while I'm traveling!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking back on past trips I've always enjoyed traveling the most when I've met locals who can share their culture and views with me. I believe that there is a huge differencing between visiting somewhere and experiencing it. Couchsurfer is a great way to do this(:
Interests
I love spending time outdoors whether it be roller blading, biking, hiking or laying in a park or on a beach! I grew up playing soccer and am always down to kick a ball around. To stay mentally charged and balanced I like to meditate and practice yoga. I dabble in hoola hooping and love to flow.
One of my favorite parts about the summer is festival season. Something about music festivals always seems to make me feel more than alive, so I guess you could say I'm an adrenaline junky.
I'm interested in politics and international affairs, religion, film, history, the natural world. A huge part of my college career has been dedicated to social justice and service. I've learned that some of the greatest pleasures in life come when you lose yourself for truly great cause.
Growing up near Chicago I had easy access to some of the worlds best museums, but I also love going hiking and camping.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste always seems to be changing but recently some of my favorite music groups are the Supremes, Odesza, the Floozies, Griz, Astros, the Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, papadosio, tribe.
Movies: Curious case of benjamin button, drive, almost famous, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something amazing I've done is watch the sunrise on top of a Mayan pyramid in Tikal, Guatemala while sick with a fever of 103. Not exactly sure how I managed to climb the pyramid.
Teach, Learn, Share
Interested to learn from the experiences of others, as I believe this can help me grow as a person. I am a very open person and never afraid to share my own perspective hoping to foster growth and connective's with others.
Also down to share a good time whatever that may be!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have open perspective on the world and a very upbeat energy. I'm in touch with myself and believe the best way to live is to love. I'm usually down for any adventure(:
