About Me

Despite finding much joy in writing, I find about me blurbs incessantly hard to write!

My name is Judy.

I will be travelling around New Zealand for a few months, with the intention of volunteering on farms and communities to learn more about permaculture and off-grid living in community settings. I will be travelling with my tent and trying to hitch as much as possible. I would love to meet some locals in the bigger towns where i can't just put up my tent!

I love nature and the outdoors. I find much happiness in quality human interaction. I always wonder what the hell is going on here (philosophically). I am always searching for new experiences and challenges and thrive on adventure. I love hiking, camping, swimming in rivers, writing, painting, dancing, being alive!

I have a nomadic heart and love to travel. I have spent over half of the last decade overseas. Most recently I just spent 8 months driving around Australia by myself. I love sharing travel stories!

Currently I am really interested in psychology, animal behavior, animal training, horse training, permaculture, gardening and building. I try to live separate from our brainwashed, disconnected and materialistic culture.
I love having interesting conversations with like minded people.

Every year I find more and more happiness in the small and simple beauties of everyday life.

I dont have much money to go out for meals etc. I live very simply. But there are plenty of fun things to do together for free!

Also, sorry to have to write this, but no, I will not sleep in your bed (this is couchsurfing not tinder I think sometimes people seem to forget???)... I will however hang out, cook dinner and have heaps of interesting conversations with you! xo
