About Me

Hello! I'm Julia and I'm 24 years old, I am originally from Finland but I moved to Belgium to finish my studies and become a physiotherapist. I'm a very active person and have been training for crossfit and weightlifting for 5 years. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, I grew up in a relatively big family, I have one older sister and two older brothers and one niece who I love more than anything! I also enjoy cooking, reading, movies and I should mention I love coffee. I also frequently go to concerts and festivals in the summer.
I like to meet new people and discuss everything and nothing, I want to travel as much as possible when I have the chance to do so by train and bus while I'm living in the heart of Europe :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because like I said I want to travel as much as I can while living in Belgium and I think it's a great way to meet new people on your travels and if travelling alone it would be nice to get some tips about the destination.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is mostly metal of many kinds but I'm open to almost any genre of music.
I have so many favorite movies, for example; the Alien movies, the Indiana Jones movies, Fight Club, Serenity, basically anything by Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez, and I also love older Disney movies.
I really like the Joe Ledger books by Jonathan Maberry, sci-fi and crime novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the courage to leave my home country to go live abroad for a year, something I had never done before and I also went alone and didn't know anyone in my new country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to do the Spiderman-goggles with windshield-wipers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and gladly cook for others, I'm not a horrible cook so you might enjoy my food! :D
Good conversation and I can give a crash course in Swedish or Finnish if you want.
I can also share some of my physiotherapy skills with you.
