ABOUT ME
meet me in the pit 🙋🏼‍♀️ music and concerts are my life! i would actually love to spend my whole life seeing my favorite bands and there's no place i wouldn't go (yes, i'd even travel to asia or the us if my favorite band played there. but that probably won't ever happen haha). i know i'm pretty crazy and a lot of people don't understand my passion for concerts but i won't stop cause there's nothing in this world that can make me happier!
i'm originally from a little village in upper franconia but now live in vienna (19th district), seriously the best city to live in. i study communication science and write for a music magazine (slam alternative music magazine).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
my first description when i first started couchsurfing in late 2013: to live my addiction and tbh to somehow combine the necessary with the useful. but of course it's always cool to meet new people (even out of the pit haha)

extended description after reaching than 30 references: i can definitely say that it became more than just that "i need a place to sleep and don't have any time left for you" thing. of course there are always those cases where i can't spend much time with my host as i often have to leave early for the next concert but i don't really feel like only using my host anymore - there have always been great conversations, some nice breakfasts (or midnight snacks haha), kind flat mates and some hosts even accompanied me to a concert. i'm so greatful for all of this! :) the hospitality and especially all the faith a lot of hosts gave to me is just incredible.
also i finally wanna start hosting, too. i've just moved to a shared flat so i guess it's about time!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC i'm pretty much obsessed with german rock, indie & some ska-punk bands. my heart belongs to SONDASCHULE❤️ (they truly mean EVERYTHING to me), madsen and die toten hosen. my other german favorites are herrenmagazin, montreal, feine sahne fischfilet, findus, kapelle petra and kraftklub. and of course the best austrian band ever: turbobier! also i'm really into pop punk. green day is by far the most important band as they brought me into music and first let me feel what live music is all about! i definitely wouldn't be who and where i am without them. state champs, the maine, neck deep, yellowcard, forever the sickest kids and against me are some other bands which are worth mentioning. MOVIES i'm totaly into johnny depp and most of his movies and tim burton is my favorite director. i think big fish, sweeney todd and charlie and the chocolate factory (guilty pleasure haha) are my favorites :) BOOKS i don't read that often anymore but stieg larsson should definitely be mentioned!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well, it's more than "one thing" but i'd say seeing my favorite band live 100 times is something pretty amazing, isn't it? but i've also seen some of my other favorite bands about 30, 40 and 50 and 60 times ;)
