Overview
About Me
When I first started traveling with 17 yo I thought I was a travel lover. Currently I prefer to say that I am in love with opening my mind to new places and its people, it's quite nice to see and discuss each other's lives and contexts.
I am kind of active, and love outdoors activities most of the time, but sometimes I prefer to take a slower mood and let myself go with whatever is going on around me. Sometimes I am a bit naive, but try to root onto genuine people and activities.
I love languages but currently I don't invest enough time in practicing or learning Arabic or Russian, the last 2 languages I studied. The first because I wanted to live in Lebanon, the second because I ended up living in Sant Petersburg.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up in 2015 to try to find different ways to travel and explore places. I dislike massive tourism. Now after some years full of experiences I consider that staying with locals is always the best way to discover a place.
The history, culture and heritage of a place might make it unique, but what's most interesting is the people who live in it and make it live.
Interests
Interested in learning as much as I can about where I am staying during my trips.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music. My favourite artist is a catalan sinth-soul singer called "Selva Nua" wich translates to "Naked Jungle". The confort playlist of my spotify will always include songs from catalan groups, some hip hop, french rap (I don't know why I like it that much) and other kinds of electronic music.
Marcel (my boyfriend with who I traveled this summer) loves music and talking about it. He also is more into some alternative music like local hardcore punk bands or metal music.
As well, we both love watching movies....
Teach, Learn, Share
I love crocheting, sewing. Some consider it's an elders' activity but when doing it I let my brain relax and just focus. Besides, is a very personal way of going against the fashion industry and it's never lasting trends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Yet to be determined, it depends on u and on what we share
In my normal daily life I am working full time and might not have so much time to spend with you due to busy schedule, which sucks to be honest... But plans are welcome as well as we might invite you to plans, Mataró is a quite city. In our app, we watch series or some films during the week but usally go to sleep early to "aixecar el país" (catalan expression, I encourage you to look for the meaning in your own language).
