ABOUT ME

I am so happy to be alive -- yes that is horribly mushy, but true. I want to explore everything. I have always been very active and eccentric. I love growing up but I refuse to grow old. I love to read, research, talk, draw, create clothing, plan interesting entertainment, fuel the fire to feel and share its warmth. I love making people feel comfortable and strong. I usually have a hard time giving up, because what I put my hands on I usually believe in very much. I am currently working on a clothing line, a non-profit organization, writing music and a small book....I love creating things, absolutely love it, things, situations....

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not a game - it is not about winning - it is not about losing - it is about being. You, me, we are creating our surroundings, possibilities, beliefs and opportunities - the ultimate freedom, this is a great responsibility and one that should not be taken for granted or ignored.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience was in Prague....lovingly Praha - two amazing people opened their homes and life to me. It was indescribable to be adjacent to such a beautiful city and people. One of my main reasons for travel is to meet people, couch surfing makes this possible...I feel really grateful to host and to be hosted by my fellow human beings as we all roam around this gorgeous planet. Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I read "Pride and Prejudice" once every couple of years...ever since I was 12...such a beautiful story - I love reading essays....last one read, Tennessee Williams, "The Catastrophe of Success" Currently trying to ready a good percentage of Shakespeare's plays...Good book on the philosophy of education and how to use our thoughts, John Dewey, "How we Think". .... Next book attempt "The Principia by Issac Newton.

I am very fortunate to know people who have great taste and drive for music ...I usually feed off of them but I have a natural soft spot for spanish music for the beat and the passion - Billie Holiday and B.B. King - anything that makes you swing...a good punk with some rebel in it...anything with a strong and funky bass line....I lOVE violins. I want to spend one day in my life laying in the sun listening to violins.

Movies....Sergio leone I love. good comedic timing...silly abstractness...movies are an amazing medium, but I do not spend a lot of time watching them....
