About Me

I'm a Colombian girl, proud of my origins and ready for sharing the best of my culture!
I try to keep -a weird yet necessary and complementary- balance between being a bookworm, family time, laziness, and going for adventures! It doesn't matter if is sharing in a pub, a nice picnic afternoon in the middle of a weekday or a short trip, I'm always looking for a plan for breaking with the routine.
My most important rule of life is respect! Kindly and respectful relationships, and respect for your ideas and space. I want to do good for others and animals (I love animals!)
I'm pretty easy going, simple and adaptable. Also, organized and clean :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am ready for learning from any experience and for transforming myself into a better version of me with every chance that life gives me. This is why I like to travel and the Couchsurfing concept seems like a perfect opportunity to get in touch with new people from different cultures, backgrounds, and ideas! Looking forward to listening and sharing!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Rock bands like The doors, Queen, Foo Figthers, The Strokes; I also like Indie Rock (Foals, The XX). I must admit that I like as well top 40 stuff like as Zara Larsson, Rihanna, Duke Dummont, disclosure .
I love animated movies like finding nemo, toy story saga, kung fu panda saga, Ice age, and the like. I also like Julia Robert's movies and cheesy romantic comedies.
I like novels, meanly historical novels. I like books in English and Spanish in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a volunteer with an NGO called Un techo para mi país, we built houses for marginalized people, and worked with communities to empower them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to teach a Human rights course in the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia for undergraduate students.
I want to improve my French, and learn as much as I can from your culture! And of course, I want to share my culture with you!
