About Me
Hello my Couchsurfing peeps on the interweb!
First off, I am a proud dog mom of the cutest 3 yr old Boxer-Pit mix named Bella! She is a rescue that I fostered during my time in Austin, Texas who decided to stick around and be my adventure buddy for the past six months. Her sweet silly self goes nearly everywhere with me! ve lived in South Dakota, Iowa, D.C., Hawaii, Texas, and have been blown away by the beauty of the U.S. The Olympic Peninsula has some of the best topography and range of biological diversity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Diversity is the spice of life! Getting to join a person for a weekend in their life is a unique experience that I first got hooked on by Couchsurfing in Ireland. I find that hosts on this site are uniquely hospitable people. Some of my best memories from traveling are days spent being shown the secret local spots in a city and nights sharing a meaningful recipe and stories from the open road.
Interests
My life currently revolves around sustainable food systems, gardening, and exploring, but I have interests and hobbies that we might have in common. :)
- dogs
- birds
- writing
- hiking
- swimming
- journalism
- beaches
- mountains

Teach, Learn, Share
I know lots of great spots on the Olympic Peninsula and can help you plan your adventure or show you around.
I grew up on my mom's Louisiana Cajun recipes that I love to share.
I run a summer gleaning program and will have LOTS of local produce during harvest season.
