About Me

CURRENT MISSION

(Not) Planning the next road trip. I don't where, I don't know when, but there is ALWAYS a next road trip.

ABOUT ME

I think I am quite carefree and in search of adrenaline rush. I love hitchhiking and couchsurfing so much, as I want to discover the world and to meet people - but I also want to experience loneliness (I'm planning, one day, to cross the Australian desert with a camel - thank Robyn Davidson for inspiring me in my fool dreams) and to learn more about DIY stuff (I guess I am a kind of punk but I don't care). Unfortunately, I am not really a manual person (that's why I decided to become a baker to learn how to use my hands) but I am always happy to learn (car mechanic and gardening are my next projects).

I am interested in alternative to the consumer society. I am vegan, I also care about the environment, I love everyone (and I think life is as beautiful as a butterfly ;) ).
Don't be scared, I am not that boring (I hope I'm easy going and I think I'm open-minded), I also love to party and I will be happy to hang out with you.
(So, please, don't let me being a vegan put you off, I just need to tell everyone about it, it's what vegans do, right ?) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can. I am currently living in Lesvos, in Greece, trying to support people in and around one of the worst migrants' camps of the world (but I don't think there is any nice camp anyway...) so it's a bit hard to host right now, but when I will be back to France (if I will) and you're looking for a place to stay, just try and I will let you know if I'm around.

When I can't host, I still love to meet new people and to show them nice places around. I love exchanging with people and I am convinced that everybody can teach something to others so I am happy to listen to what you have to say. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always AWESOME.

I'd like to rent a flat as big as possible and host everyone from this website : couchsurfing's parties are just amazing and I met wonderful people everytime. Unfortunately, it's not possible for now, but one day, maybe...
Anyway I'd love to meet you, host you, and hang out if you're around my place !

Music, Movies, and Books

I love meaningful songs (and poetry). I enjoy everything that gives hope to change the world and makes me believe that humans are good.
"Except that", I listen to quite everything, depends on the atmosphere (I do listen to a lot of punk, ska and rock but sometimes I'm in tune with dub and reggae it's pretty hard to say, my mind is changing all the time).
Same for movies and books, it depends if it's good or not, but I am quite open to any kind of art. I really like it when it's engaged.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking for a whole week in the forest without meeting more than 3 people, carrying the food (and the garbage) for all the trip on my back, and drinking rain water. Also, doing a road trip on a bike (by myself) during Australian summer (f*ck that was hot !).

But I still have a lot to do (like crossing the desert !) and to discover.
Just remember that hitchhiking without knowing where you are going is the best thing to do ! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Shouldn't tell you what I can bring you, because it's better to be surprised. Just don't worry (and stop googling everything by the way !).
But if you really want to know, I can freeze an ice-cream without freezer and say "I'm French" in chinese (very useful) ;)

Oh, and now I know how to bake croissant ! I recently got my baker's diploma so if you are hungry for french pastry, give me a yell :)
