Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I routinely have strangers stay in my home but never on the organized platform. I've been sleeping on couches and floors and offering same to people since the 1990s. Used to hit the road with a non-tech-savvy Danish-US organization called SERVAS; now middle-aged, I miss those times and that energy.

I can share a meal I cook (provided it's the beginning of the month and I'm cashed up). I can share my two cats with you, one of then hairless, for the duration of your stay, as well as my wry wit and searingly accurate observations of local life.
