About Me

Hallo!

I’m Julie, a sporty - adventurous - and sociable person. Other people would describe me as an extremely energetic person (when I slept enough at night). I bought a small house in Kortrijk last year which I renovated together with the help of friends. I rent out a room to a girlfriend, so currently I’m co-housing! I am a very dedicated plant mom, some people say my house is a jungle. Always space for new plants!

I love learning more about any culture and I'm doing this mostly while travelling and trying out different kinds of food (Syrian, Asian, Mexican ..). In August 2017 I started a year trip in Asia, went to Australia on a WHV, travelled in New Zealand and ended up in Indonesia before heading back to Belgium..

Anyone can contact me with questions about Belgium or countries I have visited!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet people from different nationalities is my main purpose on couchsurfing. It's an amazing way of making a social network all over the world! It gives a different point of view on the country and its people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Spanish music (bachata, reggeaton) is my favourite! I love 80s, 90s to shake around! I love reading books once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one year in Paraguay when I was 17 years old in a host family where I learned Spanish. It was definitely life changing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to help you out with Spanish. I like sharing dinners!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share meals as part of the couchsurfing experience. It's a great way to share (travel) experiences and discuss a big variety of subjects. Always in for a walk!
