About Me
Hey there!
I was born and grew up in Barcelona where I lived until I finished my studies of Political Science, then I decided to take a breath of this crazy world and follow my instincts, travelling, meeting people from everywhere, exploring through different countries and cultures and of course learning other languages. At the moment I'm improving my poor english but my next step probably will be french. However I can say: a beer, please in 10 different languages which is always very useful.
If you want to know more about me let's have a drink at somewhere of this beautiful world and share experiences, adventures...
PHILOSOPHY
I don't like labels but I have a principal about life...As the poet Antonio Machado said: Traveller, there is no path, the path is made by walking. You are the builder of your future...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was as a surfer at Singapore. I was hosted by Lina, a crazy but lovely girl who showed me how amazing this network can be. From then on I've hosted some couchsurfers, all of them really nice people. I have no doubt I'll keep hosting people but don't get angry at me if I deny your request as I get many every week!
Interests
I'm fond of travelling and everything that it means this like meeting people or learning about different cultures, history...
I enjoy wildness more than cities but I was grew up in Barcelona so I am comfortable in urban places too. If the place where I travel has beautiful seabeds, probably you will find me diving!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The last book I read was Time for outrage by Stephane Hassel who says that indifference is the worst of attitudes...and I totally agree. Other books: Cien años de soledad by Garcia Márquez, the Prince by Machiavelli or Sin noticias de Gurb by Mendoza.
Music: I adapt myself to any enviroment but I really enjoy both going out with friends to listen good electro, house or techno and a live concert of jazz or reggae.
Movies: Trainspotting, Charlie Wilson's war, Monty Python and The Holy Grail/Life of Brian, Pulp Fiction. Series: How I met your mother and family guy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've seen: hundreds of thousands of people in Barcelona claiming against the Iraq War; dozens of whales during a trip in Withsundays; a Russian guy drinking a whole bottle of vodka in less than 2 hours and keep dancing on a good style...
- I've done: hitchhiking aroud Australia; sky diving in Spain; an intensive 19 hours session studing Spanish Economic History before an exam (and believe me...the S.E.H. is like a movie with good characters but awful director and scriptwriter).
But maybe one of the most amazing things I've ever done was to come alone to Australia without any knowledge of English...difficult sometimes, funny others...but no regrets.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish or show you how to make a Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas) or a Paella.
