Overview
About Me
Just graduated from Vanderbilt University and excited for life in the real world! This Fall I move to New York City to work as a consultant.
I love soccer. I grew up playing the sport and still like to kick around with friends. In 2015, I got the opportunity to watch the Women's World Cup live in Vancouver. Incredibly fortunate to experience that.
I am a musician. Studied Classical Clarinet and Saxophone performance in college. I can play a few songs on the guitar as well. No longer aspiring to be a professional, but a content hobbyist.
As a musician and writer, the arts are important to me. Theatre and novels are my favorite! Put me in any live music venue though, and I will be happy.
My personality: most always cheerful. A little reserved at first, but very open to sharing about my experiences. Accepting of all people, backgrounds, and lifestyles.
Values:
Relationships, because on your best days, you'll have someone to share your joy with, and on your worst days, you'll have the comfort of your friends.
Humility, because everyone has a talent or knowledge you can learn from.
Experiences, because the world is full of opportunity and we only have so much time to explore.
Honesty, because relationships are built on trust and communication.
Before I begin my full-time job, I am spending 6 weeks backpacking through Europe. London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Barcelona, and Madrid are on my list. I haven't traveled before in Europe, so I am looking forward to this whirlwind trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is a great privilege. I love exploring new cities and learning what the world is like outside of my own bubble.
To understand a place, I believe you have to know the people who live there. I couch surf to make friends and learn about the culture of the places I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In my senior year of high school, I played as a solo clarinetist with the OKC philharmonic. We performed Pines of Rome. The maestro trusted me to lead the orchestra without his cue.
I was the president of an arts and philosophy dormitory at Vanderbilt. We turned our basement into a hole-in-the-wall music venue. Created a monthly cathartic scream event. Promoted free thinking, creative expression, and inclusive community on campus.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you have a clarinet or saxophone, I can teach you what I know from my days as a musician. My favorite salmon recipe?
