About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love learning! I am currently taking classes in math and guitar, as well as trying to keep my Spanish sharp by attending a Spanish meetup group once a week. I love learning new languages and skills, so I'll probably ask you lots of questions!
ABOUT ME
I own a home with permaculture gardens east of Seattle where I live with my girlfriend and several friends. I work at Microsoft during the week and I would be happy to give you a ride to the Redmond park and ride where you can catch a bus to Seattle. I speak a few languages, but I'd like to speak a LOT more. I love speaking Spanish, but my Chinese is getting rusty so I would love to practice if you speak Mandarin!
PHILOSOPHY
I am personally an atheist, but I believe everyone should create as much good as they can as often as they can. Treat everyone better than you've been treated yourself. Love everyone, even the people you don't like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would LOVE to host anyone from any other country, cook for you, and hear all about your travels! Travelers are always the coolest people around and they are a hoot to talk to! Seattle is a very international city and there is so much to see and do. I'd love to share it with you!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed all over China and had a wonderful experience! I also love hosting, though, so feel free to send a couchrequest!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like ALL kinds of music. Hip Hop, country, blues, rock, metal, anything and everything that makes my head move back and forth. I have a BIG music collection on my laptop too :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent nearly 30 hours in a standing-room-only train across China. I could only squat, lean, pound redbull, and bask in the shared misery with my fellow travelers.
I saw Lance Armstrong win the Tour de France for the 7th time in a row. I know he came out about the steroid thing, but it was amazing at the time. Like a roaring river of people and bicycles and cars going around l'Arche de Triomphe.
I went to a night club in Kashgar, the Muslim cultural capital of Xinjiang province in China. No alcohol, just redbull, american idol-style singers, middle eastern dance offs, and free huka. It was incredible. Danced until the sun came up.
I've gone diving in the great barrier reef, a sunken hostel in Guatemala, and in shipwrecks near Isla Mujeres. It was beautiful!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a lot of things! Spanish, Chinese, English, Finance, Chess, Piano, knowledge about cheese, wine, history (I love history), Finance, Excel, anything you want!
