ABOUT ME
Fun, out-going, laid back guy interested in learning as much as possible about the world. To do this I enjoy traveling to meet people and learn as much as possible about other countries and cultures.
After University, I joined Teach For America and taught high school science in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. After 3 years, I moved to Quito, Ecuador and taught in an International School. This afforded me the opportunity to learn Spanish, and travel extensively around Ecuador, as well as get to Chile and Colombia. After leaving Quito, I returned to Durham, North Carolina, USA. I have a Master’s degree in Education and currently teach high school science as well as work as a professor for Johns Hopkins School of Education.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I am traveling, I love to meet people and live a day-in-the-life of a local. As well, I like to learn as much about a country or city's history and culture. Couchsurfing offers the opportunity to do this. I would also love to meet any traveler coming through North Carolin.
