About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, see and experience as much as possible
ABOUT ME
I'm a rather calm, sometimes reserved, however curious person. Living in China for almost two years has taught me to adjust easily to new environment and proved to be helpful when it comes to discovering and experiencing new cultures.
Although I feel best while sitting with a book in a nice place, I like meeting new people. I would't be able to imagine life without my friends.
PHILOSOPHY
There is not one strict philosophical doctrine that I identify myself with. On a daily basis I try to be an optimist and not too judge people easily. As the saying goes - always look at the bright side :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was still a high school student when I secretly joined Couchsurfing (my parents weren't that open at that time) and I've been using it more or less regularly ever since.
My first Couchsurfing experience encouraged me to continue using this site during my travels because I found out there's no better way to discover a culture of a foreign country than by doing it from the inside - and after living in a Chinese family in Chengdu, China, for 8 months, trust me, I know what I'm saying :D
That's what I enjoy most about Couchsurfing community - it gives an opportunity to meet locals and first-hand experience.
Interests
I wish I had enough time to try out all of the recipes I keep finding on Instagram every day, watch all the movies which wait on my to-watch list, and in the meantime burn all of the extra calories at the gym.
Photography lover, vegan foodie, Asian cultures freak, whose biggest aim is to travel -and that's the reason I've signed in on this site :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiencing a Brocken spectre in Tatra mountains; spending New Year's Eve in a monastery in Emei Shan (one of the Buddhist sacred mountain in Southern China); helicopter flight over 12 Apostles Cliffs in Australia; first surfing attempts in Hainan, China and... some more to come I hope!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a person of broad interests, always willing and ready to learn new things - especially from passionate people. As Confucius once said: 三人行, 必有我师 (Where there are three men walking together, one of them is bound to be able to teach me something).
I'm grateful for all the chances to try new things that I've already got but I know that there are new adventures waiting for me even there where I don't expect to find them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you some of my secret vegan recipes or prepare matcha desserts for you - cooking together would be fun. I can teach you some Polish tongue twisters or talk about Chinese language for far too long.
I think I can be of advice when it comes to countries I've already visited (China and Japan especially) and with my friends (we often travel together) we can be of great company for a cup of coffee (or a drink).
