ABOUT ME

I'm a film maker. I would do it wither or not I got paid. Creativity is an itch I will forever scratch.

I grew up in a small town and loved it. I now live in another small town and probably will never live in any place that is not surrounded by grass. Can't do it. I need open spaces.

I guess I would define myself as pretty happy-go-lucky.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in pursuit of experiences that will help me better understand others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by opening up my (and my two roommates) palatial country trailer to any wandering souls who find themselves cruising through Oklahoma.

Also, helping out migrating Couch Surfers any way I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfed up to the Kentucky Derby this year. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Our host couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I can't say enough good things about her and her hospitialty.

My brother is currently CSing through Europe and has been similarly amazed by the quality folks that open up their places to him.

Music ranges from DJ Shadow and BT to Old Crow Medicine Show and Yonder Mountain String Band to Bad Religion and Flogging Molly (whom I have seen live around 15 times)... Oh and I can't forget the Avett Bro's

Books, well, I'm just starting to get back into casual reading after graduating and leaving the weight of an English Major's reading schedule behind me. But I would be remiss if I didn't list anything and everything by Tom Brown Jr.

As far as movies go, I love daikaiju films (Godzilla, Gamera, etc) and non-mainstream Asian films (think Wild Zero and Bio-Zombie). One of my favorite things is watching really bad movies with my friends (Troll 2 anyone?). As far as main stream stuff goes, I would have to say, anything by Pixar.
