About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently embarking on a 3 month research period for a new book I'm starting
ABOUT ME
I am a freelance journalist, social media consultant and creative writing living in Brooklyn, NY. The short story is that I'm interested in many things, especially if they connect to the LGBTQ community. I call myself queer, trying to actively participate as a writer and thinker in broader social movements.
When I'm not thinking or writing, including for Huffington Post, BuzzFeed and other sources, I find myself exploring good food and coffee, art museums, classic movies, and parks throughout the city. I've lived in 6 states in the US and find that my varied interests lead me in a lot of directions. I'm open-minded, and this is one of the most basic requirements I ask of anyone who I'll be staying with.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is constantly morphing into something else, so this is really inappropriate to be answered. Just ask me at the moment you are talking to me. It will likely involve some sort of conflict between action and lack of results, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trudging through the most torrential downpour I have seen in my life in Buenos Aires and nearly getting accosted by a street vagabond.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about gender studies and queer theory, film, writing (especially freelance writing), social media, living in a lot of different cities/environments, and political things in general.
