I have been living in the pacific northwest for almost 10 years. The last five years have been on my sailboat as I gain experience to sail the world. I have sailed over 3000 miles from Victoria to Haida Gwaii and everywhere in between. I will be in Haida Gwaii for another year at least before I set out on a three year voyage around the world. I plan on taking shorter trips in the meantime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am willing to host fellow travellers while I am in Haida Gwaii and then while I am travelling on my sailboat. Before I leave on the three year voyage, I will be doing trips without my sailboat and I would like to couch surf during those trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite authors include Jack London, William Faulkner, Farley Mowat, John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway to name a few. I am working my way through the Noble Prize for literature books.
