ABOUT ME

I'm your typical girl next door who loves to travel (definitely inherit this trait from my mom). My dream is to go backpacking in Europe for 3 months or more as a graduation trip. Meeting new people and seeing new places have definitely opened up my world, my mind and my life.

I'm a superb listener! Everyone has a story to tell and I would love to listen to yours! I'm also full of questions about anything and everything =)

I'm a healthy eater who loves to indulge in sinful food (especially desserts) whenever the mood hits me (which is all too often)! A semi-vegetarian who eats seafood. I'm rather particular about what I put into my body so I don't eat at foodcourts, fast food restaurants or hawker centres (which are almost everywhere in Singapore).

PHILOSOPHY

No point worrying about anything worth worrying about since it will happen if it's meant to happen anyway.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I first heard of CS after reading about it from a newspapers article. I joined in the hope of meeting like-minded travellers and it's more than I expected!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed twice so far and both were awesome experiences!! My hosts were so gracious and friendly. I really felt at home. Whoever invented couchsurfing, kudos to you!

Interests

Travelling (duh!)

Baking and cooking (I like to think that I CAN cook but hmm, I can't conjure up anything edible without a recipe book). A good help in the kitchen though.

Reading! I can easily spend a day with a book and don't talk to anyone else.

Music, Movies, and Books

No chinese songs for me. I love english love songs and soft rock!

Not really into movies.. I mean, I do watch and enjoy them but my world don't revolve around them.

I like reading recipes books and novels. I've been raised by my mother to love books. My sister and I didn't play gameboy or computer games while growing up; we read for fun haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: An entire blanket of stars and the Milky Way during a farm stay in Perth.
Done: Bungy jumping in Taupo, volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia!
