I enjoy the outdoor life, where nature, simplicity and friendship are the greatest beauty.

I share my home with my two adult children and my two Siamese cats. They are my community and love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined couchsurfing because I am going to travel around New Zealand soon and would like to meet up with locals so I can really experience New Zealand rather than just see it. I visited 3 years ago and fell in love with Takaka. Now I am returning to see if New Zealand is calling me home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a lot of new age music but enjoy a variety. From Elvis to Trance dance to Gongs!

I don't watch many movies. I don't have a tv. But we do have a movie night sometimes and put up the projector. My favorites have been Ice Age, The matrix, Dead Poet Society. The last movie I watched was Whale Rider.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lead Spiritual Speak Easy gatherings and meditation groups. It is great to share experiences both in chatting and in practicing together. From Osho meditations, sound and mantras, yoga, visualisation or vipasna.

I am always trying to learn something! North American flute, djembe, piano, guitar, French, German, vegan cooking.

I really enjoy cooking together. There is something about chopping veggies and making a pot of food and eating together that gives me an inner glow.
