Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to learn about other cultures and other people's lives and think there is no way better to do it than to spend time with people who really represent a culture, rather than only taking suggestions from other tourists who also don't know anything about the culture they're visiting (lol). I believe that kindness is free and that it doesn't take anything away from you to show kindness to others and try to live by the principle that as long as it doesn't hurt other people or yourself, you should always do what makes you happiest. I believe in balance and compromise and love to drink, eat, and laugh to and share experiences of life with others!

Música, películas y libros

I was an English major in college so it is safe to say I am a bit obsessed with books! I love dystopia and post-apocalyptic tales, classics, poetry, and children and young adult novels. I plan to eventually work for a publishing company and edit books so I am always open to reading new suggestions, but my favorites are The Darkest Minds series, Harry Potter, The Little Prince, anything by Leigh Bardugo, Neil Gaiman, Lauren Oliver, Sherman Alexie, and Lang Leav.

I love almost all movies and will watch anything from action, adventure, and horror, to animated movies, documentaries, and stand up comedy. I loooove La Valse D'Amelie and listen to Olafur Arnalds and Yann Tiersen constantly. I also love watching cooking shows to better my skills (but I can't bake to save my life) and watching Buzzfeed, Threadbanger, and other channels on youtube.

I also listen to just about any type of music but my favorite artists are Coldplay, Angus and Julia Stone, John Mayer, Third Eye Blind, Snakehips, Cardiiii B, Lorde, Bon Iver, Drake, and Halsey.
