ABOUT ME

I live on a farm in Northeast Iowa where we rotationally graze cattle, sheep, and goats, and sell certified organic grassfed meat. I'm really interested in local food systems and preventative medicine/health. I enjoy learning about new cultures and music, and I think traveling is the best education. I also like to dance, read, hike, kayak, and learn new skills. I'm a good cook- fig encrusted rack of lamb, anyone? People are fascinating

I guess I would say I strive to grasp the substance of the people and the world around me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just begun. I hope to participate by staying with new people this year as I travel for an internship in India and for study abroad in Mongolia. However, I'd also like to host people on my couch in Grinnell when I'm there for the semester.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing in New Delhi was a blast!Couchsurfers in Mongolia were great company, and a great respite!
