I currently live and work in China as a university lecturer. I look forward to my summer and winter breaks as opportunities to travel and explore other countries. I prefer slow travel rather than rushing from one tourist spot to another. I enjoy living among locals, eating what they eat (as long as it’s Halal), and learning their language, culture, and way of life. I’m always curious about new cultures and never short on questions, I’m into conversations that range from history and music to books, films, and those wonderfully random “how did we get here?” topics. I’m equally fine switching gears for light banter and spur-of-the-moment adventures. Outside of that, you’ll usually find me gaming, scuba/freediving, hiking, dancing (still working on the confidence), or hunting down the next great meal. My long-term mission? Live like a local in as many countries as possible. ⸻ Hosting I live in Shaoyang, Hunan, and offer a private room with a medium bed and an extra couch. Just message me “I’m looking for a place to stay.” No references needed, but I might ask a few questions first Find me on IG: kareemmoussa1
