Overview
About Me
I like to explore. Ask me which thing I want and I’ll say both. Order the same food as me in a restaurant and I’ll change my order. Give me a path and I’ll see where it goes.
On a regular basis, I study physics. It's a demanding field of study so
I don't have oodles of free time. There's a chance we won't see each other much if you're staying with me. With that said, I make an effort to share a meal, activity suggestions, and a game with all guests. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, feel free to send a request.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can't help myself.
As far as I can tell, Couchsurfing is now a cash grab, relying on the generosity of people who want to help others and experience the world. The current website makes no mention of a subscription fee until *after* you have created an account, unless you read the terms and conditions and scroll way to the bottom. In my mind, the only way someone would decide to sign up for it is if a current couchsurfer would recommend it to them, so they not only taking money from these generous people, but rely on them for word-of-mouth advertising to get more subscriptions. The "available jobs" page is a dead link, showing that they are putting no further work into developing the website. You could also see that they are not actively developing things by the fact that the twitter logo is still a bird instead of "X". What am I paying for? $15 a year to get no messages. Who would sign up for this when they don't already know how great it is?
But I love the idea of couchsurfing. I can't bring myself to delete my account because I want that chance to connect with others. I'm cancelling my payment plan, but will leave my profile up. You can send me a message, and I'll pay the $3 for the month to sign in and read your message, but better yet, find me on BeWelcome.org, which is free to use.
Peace.

Teach, Learn, Share
I study physics for a living right now. If you want to learn about the wonders of the universe, I'd love to discuss them with you.
I also like fixing things, so if you have a broken something, I'd be happy to see if I can help repair it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can dust the tops of all your fans and change all of your light bulbs. If you want to start hosting a website, I have some experience doing that, so I could set you up.
