ABOUT ME

I love animals, so in the fall of 2009, I started vet school. I took 2 years off between university and vet school to work, travel, and discover myself. I'm always up for an adventure--everything from skydiving and swimming with sharks to exploring new cities and sites to meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CouchSurfing because I want to travel the world, and my friend highly recommended the experience.

Interests

I'm a very outdoorsy and active person, and I love hiking, running, swimming, biking, and sleeping under the stars. I love horseback riding too, though traveling with a horse is a little difficult :). I always enjoy a few drinks, as well, especially when paired with a beautiful beach.

I will never turn down a good book. Favorites: anything Steinbeck or Vonnegut, Catch-22, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Pride and Prejudice, Ethan Frome, The Road, West with the Night, Watership Down, Lonesome Dove, The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Things They Carried. Ah this is too hard...so many more!

Music: Muse, Placebo, MGMT, The Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Coldplay, The Postal Service, Snow Patrol, Sufjan Stevens, U2, Green Day, etc.
