ABOUT ME

Born and bred in Australia but have always had a keen interest in foreign shores. Currently, i am having a loooong break from my normal, real-life job. I'm seeing a bit of the world and living here in Marseille. I have a permanent desire to travel and live other places... have met some lovely people along the way. The problem is now my good friends are scattered around the globe.

PHILOSOPHY

Live each day as if it were your last 7...
I am fairly energetic and i tend not to do anything by halves. I try to live each day as if it were my last 7, as you never know what is around the corner. I love genuine, generous people who make me laugh, most of all.

I am keen to meet up and show you a bit of Marseille (yes there is more than just the Vieux Port and les plages). May also be able to host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Trainspotting, Trois Coleurs, Garden State, Lars and the Real Girl etc Music: mainly electro but bit of everything else too. Not sooo keen on: heavy metal, hard rock, country and western...
Books: i'm a bad one for not getting past the first chapter of any book...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I run most mornings, in every country i've been too...
Among my top running route highlights:
1) Along a country road in Pushka India - dodging the camels as they headed in to town for the Pushka camel fair.
2) along the river at sunset in Seville, Spain.
3) in Sognsvann Park in the winter as it dumped snow, Oslo, Norway.
4) in the Chamonix valley, France in spring.
5) through Montjuic park, Barcelona.
6) and at the moment: along the Corniche and then the windy road up to Notre Dame de la Garde, Marseille, France.
7) last but not at all least: Bronte to Bondi beach along the cliffs, Sydney, Australia. Amazing! Probably my all time favorite...
