About Me

🌟 I was born and raised in Prague (CZ) the ultimate heart of Europe 🇨🇿 However, I moved living and experiencing adventures abroad in 2015, when I firstly moved to Denmark to live and pursue my university degree(s) 🇩🇰
🌟 In between, I lived in Potsdam (DE) while working in the genetic engineering lab with plants at the Max-Plack Institute in 2017.
🌟 Year later, I decided to took a gap year and went backpacking around the world. The backpacking adventure was full of camping and Couchsurfing on Jamaica and then continued to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Hawaii, Japan, Malaysia, Srí Lanka and back to Europe. 🌎 These months were one of the largest self-exploratory experiences besides the traveling excitement and enrichment.
🌟 In 2018, I returned back to Denmark to finish my bachelor's degree, and started to merge my two professional passions - the love for natural sciences and contributing into making the future of this planet a better place to live 🌎 I spent almost 4 years working for Danish biotechnology start-up (https://www.cellugy.com) where I was the first full-time employee working in a punk-looking office, being involved in R'n'D (research and development), product development, project management and business development.
🌟 After some years working in the industry, I decided to return back to the university and pursued my Master's degree in Technology-Based Business Development at Aarhus University (DK), and graduated in the beginning of 2024.
🌟 Currently, I'm working as a consultant utilising my gained knowledge for helping start-ups and companies to bring their innovation to life by fundraising. And again, I'm bridging two worlds I feel passioned about - natural science & technology and business 🚀

You may ask why I'm writing all this? The answer is following - all these life events and milestones formed me and are part of my story. However, they are only a part of my life, not a definition 💫 Along the way, there have been many more moments and realisations that shaped my personality, approach to the life, people around me and the nature. I believe that encountering one's mortality provides us with unchangeable experience of meeting our core values, and realisations about the choices we can make in our lives 💞

I consider myself as an open-minded person that strives for cultivating love, positivity, deep and meaningful connections while expressing and sharing my inner world with others, someone with a good sense of humour and eagerness to laugh.

If there should be key word(s) that could describe me, I believe it should be a "curious learner". Since my childhood, I've been loving to experience new situations and cultures, meeting new people and getting to know them, and looking for connections between seemingly unrelated topics. I love to explore, connect ,and learn.

Nature and music have been undeniably largest source of joy, peace and love for all my life❣️
Either it's winter bathing and walking along the frozen beaches of Denmark🌊, or exploring the million shades of green of jungles and forests at the places I've visited or lived in 🌿, the re-connecting aspect of immersing myself into the nature is healing and erasing that "we are the nature" 💚
Music has been an integral part of my life since my early years of life in this world. I'm a huge music enthusiast and seeker of new music experiences. The music genres and styles I go for on a daily basis (but also during the day) highly depend on my mood and situation I'm in. To be at least somehow more specific, I really enjoy electronic music. My teenage yers were formed by 2000's DnB, dub, reggaetech, techno, and in recent years I've been discovering the psytrance and hitch scene. What really got me looped was my first psytrance festival experience of the Boom Festival in a Portuguese desert in 2022. It wasn't just the music and festival grounds that stole my heart, but the community. The openness to meet each, connect and share the love for music and nature all together 💞

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I joined Couchsurfing back in the days hasn't changed - I want to meet and connect with people, and also You who's reading right now 😊 Couchsurfing is one of the greatest sources of genuine meetings, long deep conversations, exciting experience and new encounters. This platform and community have accompanied me on my growth journey, and gave me friends I'm still in touch with❤️

Currently, I'm looking for Couchsurfing opportunities in Singapore and surrounded countries for my upcoming nomadic trip starting in November 2024 🦄 and before going to fulfil a dream of attending Vipassana meditation in December 🧘‍♀️
