I'm a positive and open-minded person, I like to try different things and explore the world. I like to laugh but I make awful jokes (it's not very easy to translate jokes in english!). I like to discover new cultures and make friends all around the world. Sometimes I have crazy ideas but there are always fun! I am easy going and I really enjoy spending time with people. For the moment I live in Athens with my flatmate, two cats and a dog.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a very nice opportunity to travel through the world. It's always better if you discover a city with the help of a local, who knows all the amazing hidden places that tourist guides don't show. For me, I prefer to discover the city like that, rather that spending time in museums!

Interests

I play the piano, I am actually a music teacher and I love my job! I also like to dance and do acrobatics. I like to read, listen to good music and watch old movies, and I really appreciate people who have the same taste with me. I like to go out for long walks in the park or the beach, but I also enjoy spending time at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music! My favorite composers are Bach and Tchaikovsky. I also like the jazz (Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Evans and so on). I like also punk music, post rock and stoner and indie rock.

I like to watch movies a lot. My favorite directors are Wes Anderson (I love symmetry!), Lars von Trier and Hayao Miyazaki. I can't chose a favorite movie, but Moonrise kingdom, Patterson and Dogville are some of my best movies.

My favorite writer is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I have read all his books and I am completely in love with 100 years of solitude. I also love John Steinbeck's books. My favorite greek writer is called M. Karayatsis and I am in love with all his books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Erasmus in Finland was pretty amazing! I swam in a frozen lake, I saw the northern lights and I slept in a forest with my friends during the wintertime.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a couch that is also a double bed and an extra bed too. We can share food and time together!
