I’m very interested in different cultures and their history. I think it’s fascinating how everyone is living their life without giving it much of a second thought but to someone else it might seem like they come from a different planet. I’m looking forward to travelling the world and getting to know all different kinds of people, their culture, and different languages:)

I enjoy going outside, watching nature, and trying to capture it in my paintings. Sometimes I like to go out for a coffee (or tee() with my friends to talk about books. If I´m not working on school stuff, I like to play video games until sunrise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is exactly what my friend and I were looking for, as we are no big fans of modern tourism. There is not much point in going from one tourist attraction to the next, just so we can say “we´ve been there”.
What we want is to meet new people, get to know their culture and experience the world in the view of someone who actually lives in one these countries.
I´m happy to learn new things every day and get to know the perspectives of other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite authores are Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I read a lot of fantasy books and books with good humor in genereal. Lately, I´ve found joy in reading original, or inspired, folk- and fairytales. They can be rather unsettling sometimes which makes reading a lot more fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

paragliding over the "Wolfgangsee" in Austria. Being up in the air is a completely new experience as long as you are not afraid of hights :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really enjoy cooking, not in the sense of cooking after a recipe, but rather the “I think that would taste great together”-kind. Also, I´m always open for a great conversation, no matter the topic (except sports maybe).
