Hi there!
I'm Katherine. I'm 21 years old and I was born and raised in sunny Miami, Fl. I love writing and photography, and especially traveling. I've been very fortunate to be able to visit Colombia every year of my life but I've been wanting to explore more. Within the past couple of years I've "expanded my horizons" and have visited many cities along the East Coast such as Boston and New York and when I visited California last year I really fell in love. I'm a pretty easy-going girl with a good sense of humor. I'm also organized and trust worthy. I've done couch surfing once before and the experience was amazing; I learned about new cultures. I'm so excited and looking forward to being able to coach surf again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about other cultures and I want to be able to meet new people/ make friends and travel the world! Growing as a person would be a really cool benefit.

Interests

I love scuba diving, photography, reading, meeting new people, hanging out with my friends, traveling, art; all kinds really! Love the great outdoors, hiking. Big film buff, and I enjoy ALL kinds of music

I covered this a little in the "My interests" section but I love all kinds of music! Movies too! From action, to rom-com, to comedy, to little indie films. I love to read too. I love getting recommendations on new books to read and I'd love a recommendation from you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd have to say is hike down 13 miles to the basin of the Grand Canyon and camp out under the stars. It really changed my perspective on life and made me truly see the beauty in the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My philosophy is try everything at least once! This applies to anything really. I'd love to have an interesting/ intellectual conversation. I can teach you a little bit of spanish too :)
