Overview
About Me
Recent transplant to Hilo, Hawaii. I'm working with Pacific Quest, trying my hand at horticultural therapy. I'm looking to meet some great people who either know the island well or up for exploring new spots.
I believe I am super easy going and can pretty much get along with anyone. I can be a little shy at first but if you give off a warm vibe it will absolutely be reciprocated. I love to make people laugh and be able to show them my appreciation for being so kind to me( let me buy you groceries and cook for you) I'm hoping these connections I make will foster some really great relationships in the future or at least be a pleasant memory when you think back on our time together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I tend to find myself in a lot of new places. I'd like to get to know the people of these communities. Most recently I have found myself in Hilo, Hawaii and looking to meet others and explore before I settle into a new place.
Experience on Couchsurfing:
Just one couch surfed in Montana, looking for more!

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach others about the basis of conservation work and how it impacts a community. Additionally I can teach them backpacking skills and how to minimize our impact in the wilderness. I'm working on my skills of identifying wildflowers and trees ( I'm not very good but I'm trying!) so that is definitely something I want to spend time on during my next job. I also want to learn more about the community I'm in, what the locals are proud of, what they wish they could experience elsewhere, what makes them happy. I can share lots of laughter, some positive vibes and a listening ear.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook! More than willing to buy my host some groceries and cook them a delicious meal. I'm up for pretty much anything, if you're looking for someone to share adventures with, count me in!
