About Me
Hi,
Just moved into the higher part of Kirishima, fairly 40 min. off the city center. Breautiful landscape to roam about.
I work in the hotel business with some crazy shifts at times and replies to any queries might come in late. However, I never cancel accepted requests, so please be assured that you can stay if you have received a confirmation.
Guests are free to use the spare room and share kitchen and bathrooms.
I might not be able to show you around, so I recommend you to rent a bike or car to get around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel independently, and couchsurfing is just the right place to do so. Whoever wants to try out how it feels to be off the tourist tracks, is warmly welcome.
My first exposure to Japan was on a high school exchange program some 15 years ago, followed by many more stays. I know the country fairly well, so you are more than welcome to ask anything about how to get around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve backpacked through Syria before the conflicts, and it was my favorite country ever visited in the Middle East.
The other craziness I've done was to come to Japan as a greenhorn high-school kid. But it turned out well.
