Hei, my name's Kathrin, I'm from Germany and currently on an exchange term at the University of Bergen in Norway. In the short time I've been here I learned to love this beautiful country. That's why I wanna travel and see as much as possible. My next destinations are the Lofoten, Tromsø, Stockholm and maybe Kirkenes. After my time in Norway I will start to work in Joburg, South Afrika - and you are of course welcome! I love all kinds of sports as soccer, kitesurfing, hiking, running etc. I'm also interested in politics and literature and I like to learn new languages.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
When I did my first interrail trip after school couch surfing was not popular yet. And though: I made the experience that you can only understand a country if you talk to the people living there - that's why I decided to do couch surfing. It is always more fun to talk to someone who knows his city than to listen to the tourist guide. This platform offers the possibility to get to know people from different cultures, countries and backgrounds - what could be more interesting?

I like groups like the Kooks where you can understand the lyrics :-) but I'm very open minded here and enjoy to hear new stuff. When it comes to books I enjoy all kinds of novels.

Here in Bergen I do only have a very smal room in a student housing. But still I can offer you a foldable bed, shower, kitchen and nice floor mates.
