About Me

Basic info to get out the way:
- I am not interested in any romantic advances!

Overall:
I grew up in London and got to live in Cambridge for university, but also have spent some time in the UK countryside on walking trips / visiting family. I love learning about new foods, cooking methods, cultural norms and local music / film preferences! I like to feel immersed in the places I go to and really want to improve my language skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love talking to new people from all over the place, sharing stories and cooking together. I would hopefully like to make some friends along the way but I am also very happy to just be a polite guest depending on your schedule.

I want to keep travelling now that I have finished university, both outside my home country as well as being a tourist back home!

I would one day love to return the favour and show people around / lend out my sofa for the night! But I don't have the space for that at the moment :(

Music, Movies, and Books

I love discovering new music, movies and books from the places I travel to and am open to lots of genres. Some examples of media I have loved discovering along the way:

- Alturas de Machu Picchu, Los Jaivas (Chilean prog rock album)
- Son of the White Mare (Hungarian animated movie)
- Entombed (Swedish death metal band)
- Jefferson Airplane (San Francisco psychadellic rock)
- Kraftwerk (German electronic music)
- Nick Drake (Cambridge folk artist)
- The Pearl Button (Chilean documentary)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel through South America (Boliva, Argentina and Chile) over three months, learning spanish through hitchiking / general talking to people!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to give people tips for traveling in the UK / some cultural insights! (both for London and the countryside). I've done a lot of walking holidays around the UK and think there are some great things to do here + the food can be better than you think…

I want to learn about what life is like where you live! What foods, live music, activities, and natural landscapes are around.

We can share our experiences and stories!
