Overview
About Me
My profession was project manager in IT, but I have taken time off work to exercise the creative, less organised part of myself. I am friendly, and this belies a good (dark) sense of humour...needed in both life and my profession in particular. I am an introvert (not a warning) which means I like to chill, enjoy deep and meaningful musings, and am very self sufficient . However - if am out and about meeting you, especially in a group, then you know I am making sincere, solid effort on the social front, and we will have an epic time! I have enjoyed travels with one of my closest friends, and am enjoying the solo travel too. My intention is to find balance between the chaos of minimal planning and the excitement of new experiences, with requiem introspective time, and to think about all of things these life experiences teach, and watch personal changes, however subtle, unfold. I also write wayyyyy too many words, always.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been travelling with one of my closest friends, and we were camping and city hopping. The intention is to keep the accommodation options open and the opportunity to meet different people probable, to gain another dimension on the places visited.... and travelling is expensive!! I have been to a number of meet ups around Scandinavia, to get better acquainted with the CS community. The ultimate goal is to pay it forward to fellow travellers when I am finally settled somewhere on this large sphere.

Music, Movies, and Books
Tool, War on Drugs, Chet Faker, Flume, Kurt Vile, A Perfect Circle, Ben Howard, Fat Freddy's Drop, Wardruna, Classic Rock, Metal, Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, Alt+J, Junius Meyvent - anything atmospheric, esoteric and generally profoundly interesting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Put my life at home on hiatus for at least 12 months and go travelling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Good conversation and friendship! For other practical things - I am happy to cook lovely Vegetarian food. If you have a cat or a dog(or both), I will spoil them silly. If you need any help around the house - especially mowing lawns, I'm in!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am neat and tidy and cohesive. I love to swap stories, am always down for a deep and meaningful conversation, and/or a laugh. I can tell you all about some of the amazing places to visit in my homeland, and some of the thousands of useless pieces of information and factoids that like to materialise during our conversation.
