I'm Katie, from Tbilisi, Georgia. I am graphic designer but currently also working as marketing manager at American software development company based in Georgia. My primary interest is art, but I also love to sing and dance. I also write some songs of my own, but I'm not performing anywhere, it's just a hobby. I'm also into photography, mostly macro. I love animals! I used to work at a local zoo as a volunteer. I have a dog named Panda (well he's white with dark spots around his eyes!). He's 1.5 year old Doggo Argentino, extremely cute! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to leave my comfort zone, travel alone and make new friends. Couchsurfing seems like a perfect way to accomplish that. When you first travel to a new country, it's not just sightseeing and museums. It's culture and meeting new people to get the most authentic feel of the new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I was a teenager, an adult saying they listened to "every type of music" sounded very strange to me. Now I realize exactly what they meant, as my taste is quite eclectic. I need different music for different activities - energizing tracks with rhythm for a walk, background electronic music for work, blues, pop or R&B for singing, rock music for memories and feeling alive, a bit of hip-hop or Latino music for dancing, etc.. Well, same goes for movies and TV shows, different times - different moods. I'm sure we can find something in common as my taste covers wide range of genres.
