Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I've never had a more authentic travel experience than when staying with a local. The people I've met have been friendly at minimum, and often downright inspirational. I can't imagine a better way to explore the new part of the world than through the people who know it best. Though I probably can't host anyone as I live in shared housing with three other roommates, I would love to meet up and show you a bit of Tampa!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The House of the Spirits, Pride and Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, Eat Pray Love Movies: Le Herisson, Iron Jawed Angels, Ten Things I Hate About You Music: Ingrid Michaelson, Marina and the Diamonds, The Beach Boys
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once with my Girl Scout Troop sold enough Girl Scout cookies to go to France and Switzerland. More recently, I've eaten pork knuckle and snowshoed in the Alps and seen a lot of ballet in a lot of beautiful theaters.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you have a recipe, I can probably figure out how to make some version of it in a cupcake tin. From meat cupcakes to tiny quiches, I am the queen of single serving portion sizes! I am more than happy to teach and share my miniature cooking methods.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Pancakes, a cheerful disposition, and usually lively conversation. Side note: I don't snore. Promise.
My Interests
I like art museums, live performance, and breakfast food.
