CURRENT MISSION

I'm planning a winter holiday, and i'm aiming to cover several countries in Eastern Europe. Ideally i'd love to visit friends and family in Hungary, Poland, Latvia and Germany, whilst stopping off in various countries along the way.

ABOUT ME

My job keeps me busy for 8 months of the year (March-November), so during the winter i try to get away from the monotony of the English weather, and head abroard for a change of climate-hotter and colder, but mostly for a change of culture. My family decended from eastern Europe, so i'm naturally attracted to anything in that region. I'm lucky to have made some fantastic friends, from several different countries in and around eastern Europe, so i have many different reasons for wanting to head east to explore and learn about my heritage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled to New Zealand in November '08, where i couch surfed with some friends!! That was my first time 'couch surfing', and it is definately the best way to dive head first into a local community within a different culture. I then 'surfed' throughout the country, meeting and learing from the locals.

兴趣

I am very much an outdoors person, so i try to spend as much time as i can outside. I enjoy most sports especially extreme sports. My favorite hobbies include football, tennis, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, hiking and snow sports.

My other main interests are learning new languages. I'm lucky enough to work with several foreign people, and i'm fasinated by learing their language.
