ABOUT ME

I'm a bubbly yet laid back, quirky, ENFJ with a mission to make a positive difference wherever I may go. A little bit of everything - I'm primarily an extrovert, but an introvert as well. I have a compassionate, free-spirited personality that continues to direct my life. I enjoy traveling, getting to know others, enhancing my education in all ways possible, finding the optimism, and creating my own path.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newbie, but have surfed with a host in Georgetown, Guyana, and a host in Cusco, Peru. Both experiences have been great! I have learned of some of the incredible benefits and experiences through the Couchsurfing Community, and hope to create my own! I can host people in my current residence in Denver, Colorado - USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed at a Couchsurfer's home in Georgetown, Guyana and Cusco, Peru. Both consisted of excellent experiences with comfortable hospitality.

Interests

I enjoy participating in cultural events, writing, watching movies, exercise, and socializing. I am a pretty down-to-earth gal and am usually up for anything that does not come at a high risk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas where I resided for 20 years of my life. I enjoy the diversity and melting pot of the city's culture and although it will always be looked at as "home", I enjoy branching out and experiencing new places.

I resided in Nacogdoches, Texas for 4 years where I attended and graduated University. The East Texas culture was completely new and educational for me. I have spent 2 summers in northern Minnesota where I worked as a counselor at a Behavioral Management Summer Camp. Duluth is one of my FAVORITE cities! I love the beauty and friendly culture of the Minnesotan. I have visited New York, Chicago, Wisconsin, Ohio, throughout California, New Orleans Louisiana, and throughout Texas.

Outside of the United States, I have visited: Guyana, Scotland, England, Suriname, Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, Bahamas, Hawaii, Brazil, and Peru.

I lived in Mahaicony, Guyana - South America from April 2014-July 2016 while serving for the Peace Corps.

Currently I reside in Denver, Colorado as a graduate student and will be there until June of 2018. Surfers are welcome to come stay at my place until then.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am optimistic and thrive for new experiences and travel. I'm laid back, enjoy learning from others and teaching others, engaging in new interests, and the simple joy of socialization.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my partner and dog, but have an air-mattress and pullout couch in the family room. I can fit 4 within the family room. I live near the university, restaurants, breweries, and parks.
