I'm a person who enjoys getting out and making friends with people, but also loves to spend some days staying home and watching anime or movies all day. 😊

Until I graduated from high school, I couldn't speak English and had never spoken to a foreigner. However, at university I met many people who enjoyed traveling the world and used English as a tool to better themselves. This inspired me, and I wanted to become like them. From there, I worked hard on my English and traveled abroad for the first time, to New Zealand.🇳🇿

Leaving my country for the first time, I was able to both see the beauty in a foreign country and culture, as well as rediscover the beauty of my own country and it's wonderful culture. This made me want to share about my country and learn more about other countries.

After graduating from university, I worked in briefly in sales and then as an office worker and PR for a Japanese language school. However, not wanting to settle into a job before I achieved my dream of traveling the world, I quit my job and am now on a journey around the globe to share new experiences with all of you.🌏✈️💫

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I want to broaden my horizons.

Traveling around tourist spots is nice, but I really want to interact with the local people and learn about cultures and backgrounds different from my own. I want to experience what they see and feel, and how they live, as well as sharing my culture and experiences.

Not done, but doing. My wife and I have quit our jobs to spend a year traveling the world, fulfilling a dream I have had since I was a student.

Teach, Learn, Share

【What I can teach】
English, Japanese, and Japanese culture. I can also teach you how to use an abacus. I ranked third in my prefectural when I was in elementary school and I don't need a calculator to do calculations!🧮

【What I want to learn】
About other countries and regions language and cultures. I also want to share and learn about other people's experiences. Finally, I love learning about different foods!

Although my wife and I are currently traveling and cannot provide accomodation, we would love to host after we return to Japan.🏠
