CURRENT MISSION to enjoy whatever life throws at me ABOUT ME I'm pretty easy going and open to new experiences. I love to travel, but have recently bought a house so don't have as much freedom to do this as previously. I'm a country girl and love wide open spaces and getting close to nature. I'm a vegan but not an activist! I worked in gardening for years, then with problem kids and now with autistic kids. I live with my partner Lee and his dog Red. I can be quite a quiet person, but don't confuse this with shyness, I just don't always feel a need to talk! PHILOSOPHY to give something back along the way

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I had an amazing time couchsurfing in Mexico and have since also surfed in Iceland, Bruges and Italy. I've hosted quite a few people through the summer months and am happily surprised at how many CSer's want to visit my little village in Somerset! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I spent 10wks couchsurfing in Mexico and met some fantastic people, who made my travel experience so much more than just travel! I hope i can be as good a host as the people i've met and stayed with!

Too many to list, but for me, movies are usually foreign, music is mood dependant and books are usually about journeys, whether physical or spiritual.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Made a difference to an autistic childs life! Worked with Puma's in Bolivia, Panda's in China and children in Mongolia.

I'm not sure what i could teach, but life's all about learning, so if someone learns something from an experience shared with me, i guess i've taught or even learnt!
My Interests
My main interest is travel and everything it involves : places, people, food, music and so much more. Reading, gardening, photography, films are a few of the things i enjoy!
