Some people consider me a very calm person, an 'ice man' who has no intense feelings, but those who know me for a long time they know it is not the truth. Behind my calm mask I'm often happier, and sometimes more nervous than I seem to be. I just can't easily express my feelings. But don't worry I'm not a psycho! ;) I might be less sociable than the average so I don't have lots of friends everywhere I go, but given enough time I get on well with almost everyone I meet. I always try to focus on the positive attributes of a person. I'm mostly a listener type but I also enjoy a good conversation with good company if I'm competent enough in the topic :) If MBTI means something: I am the INFP. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Long ago (at the dawn of 21st century :) ) when I joined CS, I thought it would be great to travel the world without paying for accomodation and at the same time meet cool people. But somehow nobody answered to my request and no one ever wanted to use my couch. I stopped trying and went to hostels instead :D But hope springs eternal :D Still I think CS is a great 'invention', and we have a great community here. I've learnt about lots of interesting things when reading users' profiles.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music plays an important role in my life. When I was younger I played the piano. I'd like to play some instrument again. Maybe guitar. I listen different types of music. Especially metal, classical, and the music of different folks (world music), sometimes jazz. I often enjoy to go for an exploration in the world of music. Although I'm not a bookworm, I like reading books about the lives of great persons of history (the biography of Gandhi or Albert Schweitzer were my favourites). But I also enjoy historical fiction (Henryk Sienkiewicz, Jokai Mor) or fantasy books , or sometimes more philosophical works (Dostoyevsky, Bulgakov, or Imre Madách from Hungary) Movies: The lord of the rings, Gandhi, The last emperor, Theory of everything, Interstellar, Forrest Gump ...
