About Me

ABOUT ME
"I never stay in one place for too long, and not all who wander are lost."
""To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." -Oscar Wilde

Left America to study abroad which turned into me not getting enough and wanting to travel around all over, trying things I never thought I would be able to do or do things I never could and now I wanna ;) I love traveling because there is so much to see, different cultures, different ways of life. I love going to a new country, have extraordinary conversations with ordinary people, and share experiences. Once you forget what everyone else warns you about, then you can really step outside your comfort zone and travel the world. I now work in Montreux and live in Vevey. None of this was planned but I sure as heck am enjoying this adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people who are passionate about what they do and are curious about the world. I left home to get out of my bubble of everyone getting married and getting babies-- in short: never leaving their hometown. (Nothing wrong with that-- just not me) So I love having conversations and sharing experiences. I'd like to meet new people wherever I go. To do something I never thought I could or to just try out new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I recently tried couch surfing through a friend and it was quite a great experience. Not only did I meet someone new "host" but I met other people through the host and also other couch surfers which was great exchanging stories and passions. It is so incredibly nice to get an "insider" view of the city as well.

Now I am hosting as well. How much it helps when it was for me and it changed my view on so many things. Truly is amazing.

Interests

I can literally be the calm and relaxed person that enjoys cocktails, sun, and a good book or underground techno/ electro rave and buying a ticket that night to go to another country. Passion is music. I love the thrill of being spontaneous. I am that person that loves going to the markets-- love cooking, love visiting Mosques, cathedrals, or just spontaneous trips on the weekends to new places.
